Rev. Lori Erwin-Johnson is the spiritual leader on Special Dispensation at Unity of Tacoma, WA. She earned an MS in psychology, has completed all but her dissertation towards a PhD in Psychology of Cognition and Instruction, and received a Doctor of Divinity from the Academy of Holistic Theology and Spirituality, where she also taught students in Spiritual Direction and Pastoral Care.
Rev. Lori was ordained 2016 as a Congregational Christian minister and was associate minister at First Congregational Church in Tacoma, WA until 2020. She was invited to speak during the pandemic at Unity of Tacoma, where she had attended prior to becoming a minister. She was invited to be their spiritual leader in December of 2020 and has been working with them since then.
In addition to her work at Unity of Tacoma, Rev. Lori also works for Unity Worldwide Ministries as the Continuing Education Program Coordinator and for Unity Worldwide Spiritual Institute as an instructor and instructional designer. She teaches ministerial courses in Emotional and Spiritual Intelligence, Inclusion in Ministry and Bible History – Christian Scriptures. She is also an instructor for the Unity Spiritual Direction program. When Rev. Lori has free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, crafting, reading, and playing videos games.
