A positive path for spiritual living

September 2020 Newsletter
Beautiful Friends,
Here we are 5 months since COVID-19 joined the World Dance Party! I imagine your life and your ministry feel as hectic and upside down as mine does. If you're anything like me, you are forgetting to answer emails and occasionally waking up in the middle of the night with a litany of things you need to do that you keep forgetting to get around to. Might one of those things be registering for the NW Regional Conference?!
Here's the deal. Today we have 48 registrations, many for the full conference and some for the keynotes only. That means we're doing OK with money--we wanted to keep it affordable--and we'll have a great experience for those who attend. It also means that it may be our last regional conference. Gulp. It all depends on you.
I'd love to believe that COVID-19 will just disappear as suddenly as it came and we can resume meeting in person. However, I suspect it is here teaching our country and our world important lessons and has no plans to leave anytime soon. Under COVID's tutelage, every person and every organization gets to re-evaluate how we are operating.
As a region, we've been offering conferences for a long time. I'm pretty sure next year's conference will have to be online too. If we hold it. See, that's the thing. I, for one, am only willing to put energy into making an online conference happen if I know I have a region interested in attending. How will I know? I'll see if you attended this year.
The current numbers are enough for us all to have fun and learn and connect. And they don't warrant a repeat. Which could be what the time is calling for. Anyway, just like with the elections in November, we all need to vote. Because our vote matters. If you register, you vote yes to continued conferences. If you don't, you vote no.
Keeping it Simple; Telling it Straight; Loving You Regardless!
