2018 Northwest Unity Youth Team Conference

Be Curious
* Open-ended questions * Open-ended wonder * Open-ended creativity *

Your NW Youth Services Team encourges everyone involved in (or cultivating a consciousness for) Youth and Family Ministries to join us at the NW Unity Youth Team Conference! Our theme for 2018, Be Curious, will guide us in our explorations of experiential training, teaching by demonstration, inspiration, community, connection, mentoring, renewal, small group story sharing, laughter, prayer.

One of the many highlights of being involved in Youth and Family Ministries is having the opportunity to attend this annual Conference every January, which is both rejuvenating and invigorating! Imagine connecting with a larger network of Unity peers who are also dedicated to serving youth throughout the region. Youth Team Conference provides a platform for sharing ideas, gleaning new teaching strategies, learning more games + activities, and most of all having fun and connecting with friends, old and new.

Fall Unitreat 2017
Forty Uniteens and their sponsors gathered in November, at Cispus Learning Center, to learn, grow, and celebrate within the theme “What Do You Stand For?”

This weekend retreat offered experiential activities, reflection and service to facilitate exploration of one’s Spiritual gifts, strengths and talents. Everyone built a box to stand on and claimed the Virtues & Values they saw within themselves and their retreat family .

Our service project was building birdhouses to Audubon’s specifications to safely bless the winged ones. Uniteens departed for home with new friends and strengthened connections within their home church and the NW Region, along with their birdhouses that will be donated to their communities.

I am so grateful for the parents, churches, and adults who contributed supplies and expertise in support of our retreat. I give thanks to the NW Regional Board of Trustees and Unity Worldwide Ministries for supporting Uniteen programs and events. And I will never forget the Love of All the Universe including the Whirlpool Galaxy, the Ring Galaxy and the Fireworks Galaxy, our families while at Unitreat!

Please offer any feedback, questions and comments through this website.

FALL Y.O.U. RETREAT 2017

"RELAX AND REVIVE"

NW Region Youth Of Unity Retreat at Camp Waskowitz near North Bend WA Oct 13-15 fulfilled the intent of it’s theme “Relax and Revive.”

Co-regional officers, Kayla Towles from West Linn/Boise and Morgan Rivaspalta, Olympia, wanted to welcome and bond incoming YOUers, experience peace within, plus take home tools for nurturing their energy.

Forty-two open hearted individuals from our NW Ministries co-created an awesome, fun, spiritually grounding event. Weather was perfect to be outside for reflection and meditation as well as simply enjoying nature and making friends.

Thanks to our entire NW Unity Ministries for supporting our regional youth program and making these life transforming gatherings possible.
