Rev. Dr. Anna J. Shouse is the founder of Soul Matters-Spirit Works, a consulting ministry that integrates psychology and recovery principles with positive spirituality.  This ministry is a professional resource for spiritual communities, people in recovery, and the addiction treatment and counseling fields. 

Rev. Dr. Shouse is an ordained Unity minister and holds a Ph.D. in Communication and Human Relations from the University of Kansas and a Masters in Addiction Counseling from the Hazelden Graduate School of Addiction Studies.  She has served three Unity ministries, and has been active in leadership in a variety of capacities in the Unity movement, currently serving as a member of the Academic Governance Council of Unity Institute. 

Rev. Dr. Shouse is a well-respected spiritual leader who has experienced first hand the power of God to transform lives.   Her workshops, classes, and presentations are known for bringing participants into deep understanding of metaphysical principles and the ability to apply them to everyday situations.
